In recent years, Pix has rapidly emerged as the primary payment method in Brazil. In this tutorial, you'll see step by step how to make a deposit using Pix into your account at EBC Financial Group, a world-class Forex broker.

To deposit via Pix, traders need to create an account. To do this, go to the registration page and fill in your name, phone number, email address and password.
Then click on 'Get Code' to receive a validation code in your email. Then click on 'Register Now'.
After this initial process, the trader is required to send a photo of a valid identification document to verify their identity.

This process is known as KYC (Know Your Customer) and is mandatory for globally regulated financial institutions such as EBC.
Select one of the verification options, which include identity card (RG), passport or driver's license (CNH).

Once you have verified your identity, you need to create a trading account. To do this, go to 'Create Account', available on the site's home page:

After that, set up your account:
Trading platform: MT4 and MT5 are desktop software, very common in Forex brokers, where the trades will actually take place.
Trading account type: the standard account is a traditional account with excellent spreads. The Pro account features a zero spread but includes a small, fixed commission of $6 per lot traded.
Maximum leverage: select the maximum leverage for your account, ranging from 1:1 (no leverage) up to 1:500 (500x leverage).
New account password: Set a new password, which will be unique to this trading account.
Then add your general account password and click on 'Create Now'.

Now you can deposit via Pix. Go to 'Deposit' on the Home Page to start the deposit operation.

At EBC, you can find several deposit options like bank transfers, international transfers, cryptocurrencies, digital wallets, and credit cards.
To transfer via Pix, select 'Bank Transfer' and then 'Local Transfer' or 'Instant Transfer'. Both options allow you to deposit via Pix and other methods.

Afterwards, select the trading account for the deposit that you created in the previous step. Choose the Brazilian currency (BRL) and enter the deposit amount, which must be a minimum $50. In the right-hand corner, review the deposit rules, including the maximum allowable amount and information necessary for the transaction to be processed correctly.

EBC has two payment gateways for this type of transfer: Pay Retailers (Local Transfer) and Pag Smile (Instant Transfer). Pay Retailers allows payments via Pix or 'Boleto Bancário', while Pag Smile is integrated with Pix, 'Boleto Bancário' and 'Lotérica'.
After that, select the Pix deposit option, fill in the necessary information and finish the process. A payment via QR Code and Pix code will be generated. Now all you have to do is make the payment using an account you own.

After that, wait for the payment to be processed within 12 hours. However, payments via Pix are usually processed more quickly. All confirmed transactions can be viewed under 'Fund Transfer'. The balance of each trading account can be viewed under 'Trading Account'.
